Ellen fell in love with photography in her school's darkroom in Year 9, and finished Year 12 with top marks. After a short hiatus she was readily accepted into the Advanced Diploma course, which she completed last year.

As well as her duties as a photographer, Ellen's job as Studio Supervisor involves regular customer service miracle-working and keeping the rest of the crew in line.
