What makes a great photo?

A great portrait or wedding photo doesn't begin with an expensive camera, or a bunch of expensive lenses, or photoshop skills, or a car full of gadgets, although obviously we have all of those things.

And it doesn't begin with a big ego either.

A great people photo actually begins with a chat. And uses our ears as much as our eyes.
